My abstract painting expresses my enduring obsession with color, spontaneous composition and process. I work quickly, layering and dripping colors together, building and scraping. Landscapes or organic forms are usually the reference point, even if it's not obvious.
My photographs try capture a fleeting moment. The city is most interesting to me in the rain. And I especially love tiled pools. Travel, music, fashion and literature provide endless inspiration.
I have exhibited at the Guild Hall Members Show 2016, 2017, 2018, the ASL Small Works show at Borough Hall 2018, and won Honorable Mention in ArtHub Magazine, 2017. I am currently studying abstract painting with Liv Mette Larsen at the Art Students League. My education began at Rutgers University with studio art and art history. I have an AS degree from FIT in fashion illustration, and an AS degree in architectural drawing and drafting from Santa Barbara City College. I earned my bachelor's degree in creative writing. My work is held in private collections in the California, New York, and Florida.
